BBR 2025 Week at Camp Raffle Official Rules

1. Eligibility:

• The BBR 2025 Week at Camp Raffle (the "Raffle") is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• Employees of Birch Bay Ranch, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

• One entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

2. Entry Period:

• The Raffle begins on June 1, 2024, and ends on September 1, 2024 (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

3. How to Enter:

• To enter, complete the official entry form available above

• All required fields on the entry form must be completed. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

4. Prize:

• One (1) winner will receive a free week at Birch Bay Ranch during the summer of 2025 (the "Prize").

• The Prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.

• No substitution or exchange of the Prize will be permitted, except at the sole discretion of Birch Bay Ranch.

5. Winner Selection and Notification:

• The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

• The drawing will take place on September 1, 2024.

• The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

• The potential winner will be notified via [method of notification, e.g., email, phone] within [number] days of the drawing.

• The potential winner must respond to the notification within [number] days to claim the Prize. If the potential winner does not respond within this time frame, an alternate winner will be selected.

6. Publicity:

• By entering the Raffle, the winner agrees to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. General Conditions:

• Birch Bay Ranch reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Raffle, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Birch Bay Ranch’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Raffle, as determined by Birch Bay Ranch in its sole discretion.

• Birch Bay Ranch reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Raffle or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

• Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Raffle may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Birch Bay Ranch reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of Liability:

• By participating in the Raffle, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Birch Bay Ranch, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Raffle or receipt or use of the Prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Raffle; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Raffle or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Raffle or receipt or use of the Prize.

• Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

9. Disputes:

• Except where prohibited, the entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Raffle or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Alberta, Canada.

• All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Birch Bay Ranch in connection with the Raffle, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Alberta, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
